The universal transmission device of the forklift is mainly used when the two axes do not coincide, and in the operation of the forklift, the power transmission between the shafts whose relative positions are constantly changed. It is used in the forklift with heavy load, the connection between the transmission and the drive axle, and the connection between the forklift engine and the oil pump. The universal transmission device of the forklift is composed of a universal joint fork, a cross shaft assembly, etc. Its function is to transmit the power of the transmission to the main reducer. The transmission shaft has large torque transmission, high speed and heavy work. Therefore, although its structure is not complicated, the technical requirements are very high. Otherwise, chattering, noise, detachment and shaft breakage will occur.
The universal drive of the forklift truck should have the following advantages: the bolts are fully tightened, the assembly angle must be correct, the lubrication is good, there is no jitter during driving, and no abnormal noise. Therefore, in the use of the forklift, the maintenance of the transmission shaft should be done carefully, and the problems must be dealt with in time.
When the forklift is driving, the transmission shaft must bear a large torque and impact load, and at the same time rotate at a high speed, accompanied by continuous vibration, its lubrication conditions are poor. Therefore, it is prone to wear, deformation and damage, resulting in malfunctions, and abnormal noises and chattering. When the forklift starts, if the car body trembles, it will be accompanied by the sound of "Ge. Ge"; you can still hear a periodic sound of the chassis while driving. The faster the speed is, the louder the sound is. In severe cases, the cab vibrates, and when you hold the steering wheel, your hand feels numb. The reasons are as follows: the universal joint cross shaft and the needle are worn loose or the needle is broken; the fixing screws of each connecting part are loose. The drive shaft is easy to bend and deform. When encountering the above faults, you can go to the bottom of the vehicle to check whether the connecting screws are loose, and shake the drive shaft by hand to detect the worn parts; raise the rear wheel frame and rotate the gear to observe the vibration and abnormal noise of the drive shaft. It is also possible to detect the amount of deformation of the drive shaft on a car dial indicator, and after fixing the cause, repair them separately.
Once the dynamic balance state of the transmission shaft assembly is destroyed, it will be subjected to additional dynamic load caused by centrifugal force during work, which is easy to produce bending deformation, causing vibration noise of the transmission shaft, increasing the dynamic load, reducing the transmission efficiency, and accelerating the damage of parts. Accidental impact of the drive shaft during use, knocking deformation during disassembly, destruction of the mutual position accuracy of the parts after surfacing, etc., will cause the center of rotation mass of the drive shaft assembly to deviate from the axis of rotation, destroying its balance performance.
When curing, add grease to the cross bearing; when checking whether the cross bearing is loose, put the transmission into neutral, release the parking brake, hold the drive shaft shaft tube with both hands, and rotate it sharply left and right, there should be no obvious. The slack is disassembled and repaired if it is necessary. During the maintenance of the transmission shaft, it is also necessary to check whether the fasteners are firmly fixed, and the appearance and curvature of the transmission shaft are repaired if necessary.
Before repairing and assembling the drive shaft, all its parts must be cleaned, especially the oil passages, journals and needle bearings of the cross shaft. They should be washed with clean kerosene and blown dry with compressed air. This needs to be coated with grease on the mating surface, and then fitted after the mark. After the universal joint is installed, it should rotate flexibly without obvious gaps, and there should be no card issuance.
A transmission shaft is used to connect the forklift gearbox and the drive axle. This type of forklift drive shaft is composed of flanged fork, universal joint, cross shaft and bearing. The cross shaft is equipped with a lubricating oil cup, which can be filled with lubricating oil to lubricate each bearing. When the cross shaft generates excessive clearance in the needle bearing, the drive pump should be disassembled and the cross shaft or needle bearing should be replaced according to the wear condition (must be replaced in pairs). Bearing lubrication should use lithium-based grease. It is absolutely forbidden to lubricate with thick grease (such as calcium-based grease), because the use of heavy oil will accelerate the wear of bearings or cross shafts.
