The Noise of The Car Increased? It May be Related to Precision Machined Parts

The popularity of automobiles is becoming wider and wider. Cars bring great convenience to our daily lives. 1. How many kinds of car noise?

(1)  Engine noise

Vehicle engine is one of the sources of automobile noise, and engine noise varies with engine speed. It is mainly generated and transmitted through the front fender, hood, fire wall and exhaust pipe.

 

(2)  Road noise

Road noise is caused by wind noise and chassis vibration when the vehicle is driving at high speed. (3)  Tire noise

Tire noise is caused by the friction between the tire and the road surface when the vehicle is driving at high speed. The noise level of the tire depends on the road conditions. The car itself is like a box, and the sound has the properties of refraction and overlap. If there is no sound absorbing and sound insulation material, when the sound enters the car, the noise will continue to refract and overlap to form a resonance sound.

 

 

2. The causes of car noise

If the car noise suddenly increases, it may be related to precision machined parts, such as transmission parts, rod end joint bearings, spherical plain bearings and so on.

 

The surface roughness of precision machined parts can reach 0.080.01 microns. The outer surface is formed by crossing ripple curves, so that it is easy to form an oil-bound film. It can improve the lubrication effect, so the wear resistance of precision machined parts is better.

 

The triangular arm is an important part in the linkage components, which directly affects the handling performance of the car. The rubber bushing in the chassis and suspension has the function of shock absorption, which can reduce part of the vibration from the road surface.

 

But over time, rubber products will inevitably age, harden or even break. At first it may only affect driving comfort. However, when water, mud or even sand enters the rubber bushing, it will cause damage to the internal parts.

 

So if there is noise in the chassis of the car while driving or the handling performance is affected, we should pay attention to the inspection of the rubber bushing when repairing the car.

 

In addition, when repairing and replacing vehicle parts, we must replace some parts that are seriously aging or about to be damaged. It seems that this repair and replacement cost more money, but it actually saves costs.
