The Structure Type of Rod End Joint Bearing

The joint bearing is a spherical sliding bearing whose sliding contact surface is composed of inner ring and outer ring which can be rotated and swung at any angle when moving. It is made from surface phosphating, spraying and other special process treatment. The joint bearing has the characteristics of large load capacity, strong impact resistance, strong corrosion resistance, strong wear resistance and good lubrication performance.

 

The structure of joint bearing is simpler than rolling contact bearing. The joint bearings are generally used for low speed swing motion (angular motion). Because the sliding surface is spherical, it can also be used for inclined motion (centering motion) in a certain angle range, and it can still work normally when the eccentricity of the bearing shaft and the shaft shell hole is large.

 

 

Types of Rod End Joint Bearing

1. SI…E type joint bearings are assembled from GE…E type joint bearings and rod ends. The rod end of the bearing has an internal thread, the bearing is made of carbon structural steel and it does not have a lubricating oil groove. This kind of joint bearing can withstand radial loads and axial loads less than or equal to 0.2 times radial loads in any direction.

2. SA…E type joint bearings are assembled from GE…E type joint bearings and rod ends. The externally threaded rod ends is made of carbon structural steel and it does not have a lubricating oil groove. This kind of joint bearing can withstand radial loads and axial loads less than or equal to 0.2 times radial loads in any direction.


3. SI…ES type joint bearings are assembled from GE…ES type joint bearings and rod ends. It is female rod ends, the bearing is made of carbon structural steel and it has a lubricating oil groove. This kind of joint bearing can withstand radial loads and axial loads less than or equal to 0.2 times radial loads in any direction.

 

4. SA…ES type joint bearings are assembled from GE…ES type joint bearings and rod ends. The rod with threaded ends, the bearing is made of carbon structural steel and it has a lubricating oil groove. This kind of joint bearing can withstand radial loads and axial loads less than or equal to 0.2 times radial loads in any direction.

 

5. SIB…S type female rod ends. The bearing is made of carbon structural steel, and the inner ring is made of hardened bearing steel, and it has a lubricating oil groove. It can withstand radial loads and axial loads less than or equal to 0.2 times radial loads in any direction.

6. SAB…S type externally threaded clevis rod ends. The bearing is made of carbon structural steel, and the inner ring is made of hardened bearing steel, and it has a lubricating oil groove. It can withstand radial loads and axial loads less than or equal to 0.2 times radial loads in any direction.

 

7. SQ… type joint bearing is a kind of ball joint rod end bearing, the rod end is made of carbon structural steel, and the ball-end is made of carburized steel. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in any direction.
